Limited Edition Highland Cattle

 The Artist:

Known internationally both for his paintings of Scottish wildlife and of the golf courses of the world, Peter Munro was born in 1954 and grew up in the Highlands of Scotland, where he still lives.  He contemplated an honours degree at the Chelsea School or Art in London but, disillusioned with the art world, decided to return to Scotland to work in his family's forestry business.  However, during a visit to Canada in 1985 he was inspired by the remote and raw Canadian Landscapes and by the work of the great Canadian wildlife artist Robert Bateman to return to the easel and he took up painting as a full-time career in 1987.  Concentrating initially upon wildlife and later also upon the beautiful golf courses of the United Kingdom and Eire, his work has been profiled in leading magazines and exhibited at prestigious galleries in Holland, London, Canada and the United States.

This Limited Edition print has been published with light-fast inks to BS1006 standard onto fine archival-quality cotton canvas, coated with acid-free priming for permanent artwork reproduction.  Each print is then hand-sorted and individually checked for quality by the printer beofre ots numbered.  This certificate is then signed by the artist, in approval of the edition.
